Support from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Uniformed Youth Fund made a major difference \u2013 helping us to open more places for young people who might otherwise miss out on Scouts.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EOpened Gilwell Park\u2019s \u2018Syd Kesseler Centre\u2019, the culmination of many years of fundraising. Thanks to our generous supporters, this centre and its interactive heritage displays offer a welcoming gateway to Gilwell Park.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EGenerous support of players of Postcode Lottery continued to help us create more opportunities for young people and strengthen provision where it\u2019s needed most.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EGrown and diversified our corporate partnerships, with six new partners joining us, and many longstanding supporters renewing or increasing their involvement.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EDeveloped new and updated STEM activities with increased support from Rolls-Royce who helped us run webinars and shared how Scouts helps a young person\u2019s employability.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ELaunched our updated \u2018Air Activities Staged Badge\u2019 with the RAF at the Royal International Air Tattoo.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EHSBC UK increased their support as we extended Money Skills for Scouts and Explorers. 400 young people attended Scouts events at HSBC UK\u2019s Birmingham and London offices.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EA significant grant from the Norfolk Road Trust will enable us to get more young people outdoors, developing skills in nature and conservation.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ELaunched the Chief Scout Appeal, to mark Chief Scout Dwayne Fields\u2019 first year, with funds helping to ensure every young person who wants to join has a place to belong.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ESince launching our Free Will Service in October 2024, supporters have pledged more than \u00A31m in future gifts. We\u2019ve received 16 legacies this year, a powerful reminder of our movement\u2019s long-lasting impact on people\u2019s lives.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ERelaunched our Gilwell Fellows giving programme, with refreshed giving options and improved stewardship.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EGenerated a 30% rise in income through the Scouts Lottery, now in its second year.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ECheered on our incredible runners in both the London and Brighton Marathons, who raised funds in support of Scouts.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EWe\u2019ve supported volunteers and local groups in accessing new funding opportunities \u2013 like the national Better Youth Spaces fund.
