Through adventure, teamwork, and meaningful opportunities to lead, our young people can develop their identity and purpose.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ETo give volunteers practical resources so they can confidently support all young people to make Scouts their place to belong.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003Ch3\u003EProgress a year on\u003C/h3\u003E\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EEnabled volunteers to deliver more than one million nights away for young people.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EExpanded financial skills learning to Scouts and Explorers supported by HSBC UK, so Money Skills are built progressively from 6 to 18.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E116 Explorer Units helped us test new Challenge Awards and Activity Badges before they become part of the new Explorer Scout programme from September 2026.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EMore than 120 County/Area/District Youth Leads trained at Gilwell Park this year with 94% reporting more confidence afterwards.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ERecognised the skills and achievements of our highest achievers, celebrating 425 Queen\u2019s and King\u2019s Scouts at Windsor.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E4,513 Scouts earned their \u2018The Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s Award\u2019(DofE), with 811 of those having additional needs or in economic hardship.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ERelaunched our Air Activities Staged badge with the RAF and upgraded creative activities for Beavers with Hobbycraft. Our Scout section Chef badge got a refresh thanks to HelloFresh \u2013 Chef and former Scout, Ainsley Harriot, cooked with the 63rd Hackney Scout Group.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EImproved accessibility for young people with more complex support needs, by relaunching Scouts partnership with the Mencap Gateway Award. It can be used instead of the challenges in our Explorer and Network Top Awards, helping to make Top Awards open to all.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EPiloted new approaches to make Scouts available for young people with additional needs or in IMD 1-3, with learnings we can develop for the future. For example, a pilot in Leicester and Great Yarmouth empowered Young Leaders to enable other young people in IMD 1-3 to gain skills with Scouts. More than 70% of these Young Leaders reported feeling more confident to take on leadership as a result.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EIncreased our resources for volunteers to enable young people who need additional support: 1,000 volunteers learned about supporting young people with neurodiversity through a webinar series enabled by the Omaze donation. We saw more than 2,000 volunteers accessing resources to support disabled young people and volunteers. We also launched new visual support tools, in partnership with Widgit, which have already been accessed more than 6,000
