Compared with 2019, they\u2019re more physically active overall, with many now achieving at least 30 minutes of activity on five days each week. They also describe feeling happier, more confident, and more satisfied with life, while levels of anxiety have reduced. Together, these indicators build a clear picture of improved everyday wellbeing for young people involved in Scouts.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EOur young people have provided feedback to be proud of:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E95% developed life skills that\u2019ll benefit them in the future.\u003C/strong\u003E (\u002B1% from 2024, \u002B2% from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E93% of our young people take part in activities they hadn\u2019t tried before Scouts.\u003C/strong\u003E (-2% from 2024, no change from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E85% say they\u2019re happier since joining Scouts.\u003C/strong\u003E (no change from 2024, \u002B6% from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E87% say Scouts made them more confident.\u003C/strong\u003E (\u002B3% from 2024, \u002B4% from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E70% say they\u2019re healthier through being part of Scouts.\u003C/strong\u003E (\u002B2% from 2024, \u002B5% from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E43% report they do better in school through attending Scouts.\u003C/strong\u003E (\u002B3% from 2024, \u002B3% from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E70% say Scouts made them more confident about getting a job in the future.\u003C/strong\u003E (\u002B4% from 2024, no change from 2019)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003ESince 2019, there\u2019s only been a significant \u003Cstrong\u003Edecline\u003C/strong\u003E across one Theory of Change outcome: perseverance and grit. This may reflect wider experiences of young people following the pandemic.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EOverall, the latest SES tells a story of steady momentum. Since 2019, young people have increasingly described Scouts as a place where they feel stronger in themselves, braver to try new things, and more connected to the world around them. Our young people are more active week to week, and they report feeling happier, less anxious, more confident, and more satisfied with life overall. These are small signals that add up to a meaningful picture \u0026nbsp;of wellbeing.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThat sense of belonging shows up beyond the meeting place too: a large majority say they\u2019re more likely to help out in their community, and many talk about better friendships and relationships as a result of taking part. Our core commitment remains strong, with 95% saying they\u2019ve developed life skills that\u2019ll benefit them in the future.
