From a first experience of being afloat in a canoe to crewing a yacht they provide valuable experiences, lessons and memories for all of those involved.\u00A0\u00A0 Access to waterborne activities is often only possible due to the commitment of adult volunteers who not only give their time to lead our weekly programmes, but also take on the time to undertake the required training.\u00A0 Here at Scouts, an adventurous activity permit allows\u00A0volunteers\u00A0to lead this type of activity. The aid shouldn\u2019t lift above the model\u2019s ears. If it does, it\u2019s too loose.
