creative activities.\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EParents wanted to make sure activities are respectful of\u003Cspan\u003E people\u003C/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u2019s\u003C/span\u003E different financial backgrounds\u003Cspan\u003E.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022rte-justify\u0022\u003EThere are \u003Cspan\u003Efour\u003C/span\u003E requirements for Beavers, \u003Cspan\u003Efive\u003C/span\u003E for Cubs, four for Scouts and five for Explorers.\u0026nbsp;\u003Cspan\u003EWe\u2019ve created\u003C/span\u003E at least two new, practical, fun We talked about saving, borrowing, and even investing.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ESaving means putting money aside for later. It\u2019s a great way to reach goals, like buying something special or being ready for emergencies. We also learned about ISAs \u2013 special savings accounts where your money can grow without paying tax on it.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EWe explored loans, which is when you borrow money and agree to pay it back later. Loans come with interest, which means you pay back more than you borrowed. That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to think carefully before borrowing.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThen we looked at stocks and shares, which means owning a small part of a company. If the company does well, you can make money, but if it doesn\u2019t, you could lose money. It\u2019s a bit of a risk!\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe biggest thing we learned is that every money choice matters. Spending now might mean missing out later.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAs Scouts, being prepared also means being smart with money.
