We ensured that those were the skills volunteers at the Scouts needed and then we began curating content for our Digital Skills Library.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EWe recently carried out volunteer testing with a range of Scout volunteers who gave us valuable feedback on the digital skills library. They told us the good, the bad and the ugly, helping us to understand what\u2019s useful and allowing us to shape the content.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EOur \u003Ca href=\u0022#\u0022 title=\u0022Digital Skills\u0022\u003EDigital Skills library\u003C/a\u003E is now live on the website and we continue to build on the content within it. You can expect to see a set of skills called \u003Ca href=\u0022#\u0022 title=\u0022The Basics\u0022\u003E\u2018The Basics\u2019\u003C/a\u003E which should help you with almost everything you do as a scout volunteer digitally. On top of the transferable\u00A0skills in The Basics, you\u2019ll find support for Planning your Programme Digitally, Planning Events and Activities, Digital Finance, Digital Meetings and Training, Data and Documents, Working Together and Getting the word out.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003ENot everyone has the same level of Digital Skills and that\u2019s been a key part of our thinking to date. It\u2019s important that all our content is accessible to everyone. Making the content easy to find and understand is crucial. We\u2019re doing this by using plain English and stripping back the techy terms as much as possible. And don\u2019t worry, you won\u2019t need too much pre-existing knowledge of digital skills, we start with the basics.\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EAll the content we\u2019ve put together will need reviewing by our volunteers, to ensure we produce many different variations of digital/hybrid scouting. Our \u003Ca href=\u0022#\u0022 title=\u0022Digital transformation\u0022\u003EDigital Skills Library\u003C/a\u003E can be accessed by anyone via our website.
