They\u2019ve made a vital contribution to their local community.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe award acknowledged their tireless work running events and raising funds for young people, families and elderly residents. The award recognised their role in delivering activities for young people, as part of the Calderdale Healthy Holidays Programme.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EHighlights of the group\u2019s busy calendar included the \u003Ca href=\u0022/activities/take-part-in-iftar-under-the-stars/\u0022 title=\u0022Iftar under the stars\u0022\u003EIftar Under the Stars\u003C/a\u003E at the spectacular Piece Hall in Halifax, which drew 1,500 people. They also a second Iftar at the Halifax Academy, which attracted nearly as many again.
