But this \u2018one size fits all\u2019 approach fails to recognise that we\u2019re not all starting from the same point.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EFor centuries, Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in the UK have faced discrimination, unfair treatment and barriers to opportunities, based on their race.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ESo, it makes sense that people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds may need different resources or support in order to succeed.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EOnly when we have achieved equity can we say that everyone truly has a fair chance in life. \u202F\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EFor Scouts this means that we\u2019re working towards changing the way we think and do things so that we can become a movement that gives everyone what they need to
