He is currently Chair of his local Scout Group, where his daughter is also a Cub Scout.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cbr\u003EPaul first became involved with UK Scouts at the age of 18 as a member of the Youth Involvement Working Group and has continued to contribute in a variety of national roles, including a period working for the Scouts. His involvement has included supporting and championing volunteering and the volunteer experience, most recently as the Sponsor for the Volunteer Experience Programme. Kester has also held several UK headquarters roles since 2010, and was part of the Contingent Management Team for the 2019 and 2023 World Scout Jamborees.
