This must be used to credit the \u201816hr First Aid\u2019 Skill\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EHold a valid First Response skill (confirmed by another First Response Trainer)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EHold the skill module 29 - Presenting. (existing recognised training qualifications can be used to credit this skill)\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ol\u003E\n\u003Ch3 class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPreparing to be a First Response Trainer\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/h3\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EPotential trainers who have the appropriate first aid qualification but not the training qualification can, whilst working towards module 29, help with delivery whilst being supervised and supported by an accredited Scouts First Response trainer.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EThey may not operate independently of an accredited First Response trainer to deliver First Response learning. The accredited First Response trainer remains responsible for the delivery and quality of this learning and the potential trainer has a maximum period of 6 months to complete their accreditation.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Ch3 class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EContinuing to be a First Response Trainer\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/h3\u003E\n\u003Cp class=\u0022MsoNormal\u0022\u003EFirst Response trainers are only accredited whilst their 16 hour first aid qualification and First Response learning remains current.
