These are the key messages from each theme of question:\u0026nbsp;\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Ch3\u003EUniform / UK Contingent Kit\u0026nbsp;\u003C/h3\u003E\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EIssuing of uniform: \u003C/strong\u003EMembers of the Contingent will not be issued a uniform shirt for the Jamboree. This idea was proposed at the Unit Leadership Conference in March 2026, and we had mixed feedback from Unit Leaders.\u0026nbsp;\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EThe decision has been made from a sustainability perspective to not provide a uniform.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EThis is an item all members of The Scouts should own, regardless of Jamboree attendance.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EShould a young person wish/ need to purchase a uniform,\u0026nbsp; there will be a discount code provided from Scout Store to help reduce the cost. This code will be provided in the coming months.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EMembers who are Air or Sea Scouts will be able to proudly wear their own colour uniform to the Jamboree, rather than be issued with a standard Explorer Scout shirt.\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EExpectations around wearing uniform:\u003C/strong\u003E We are still a uniformed organisation, and members are expected to wear uniform at key times of the Jamboree:\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EArriving at the Jamboree Site\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EOpening Ceremony\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EClosing Ceremony\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EAny other ceremony your Unit may attend (eg. Flag raising)\u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EThere is no expectation to wear Uniform to travel\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ELegwear:\u003C/strong\u003E The UK Contingent will not be issuing uniform legwear. Units should agree how they will ensure they are presentable when uniform is worn (ie. Shirts buttoned, and legwear a sensible/ matching colour across the Unit). \u0026nbsp;\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EBadges/ Badge Placements:\u003C/strong\u003E The UK Contingent badges are deliberately woven, rather than embroidered to ensure that the detail of the design was retained.\u0026nbsp;\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EThe UK Contingent badge should be worn above the pocket. Each adult will have their own \u2018pod\u2019 of the tent.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESpace on campsites:\u003C/strong\u003E We are confident, based on the measurements provided by the Jamboree Organisers, that the tents will fit on each Unit\u2019s campsite.\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EUnit Kit:\u003C/strong\u003E You will be provided two additional hold-all bags for any Unit kit. You are welcome to bring the traditional bunting, flags, and other decorative items for your campsite.\u00A0\n\u003Cul\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EOnce it\u2019s confirmed what the Jamboree Organisers will provide an update for Units.\u00A0\u00A0\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003C/ul\u003E\n\u003C/li\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EYoung Person Supervision:\u003C/strong\u003E Leaders and young people should agree the general levels of supervision from Unit Leaders during the Jamboree. Young people should have the opportunity to explore the site freely, but should never be on their own, and should always be with other young people.
