This means that as well as the individual\u2019s needs or challenges, we consider their strengths and the support they may have. This should include enabling them to be as independent as possible. All the principles are the same, however Adult Volunteers should complete the form in Appendix 3 of this policy, rather than an Individual Support Plan.\u003C/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EWherever possible, The Scouts will make reasonable adjustments to facilitate participation. However in accordance with our legal responsibilities and our purpose, we will place the needs of young people first. This may mean that The Scouts are unable to make reasonable adjustments as they fail to correspond with our Safeguarding Policy.
